For all his antics, young men listen to him and know that he sees them as something more than just players on the team. Wish him and Colorado the best.

As with you Glenn, my perception of Deon Sanders has changed. The man believes in mentoring young men to be good men in life. That they play a game is just a part of that maturation process. That is what I admire.

There are reports that his blood clots might have been vaccine induced. His ability is indeed GOD given and I am personally happy to see the changes he is bringing to not only Colorado yet College football in general. Go Coach Prime!

I ceased to care about college football about two hours after I graduated. But I have no problem with Sanders. I can’t think of one person worth his or her salt who didn’t/doesn’t have an ego. I tried to pray the Litany of Humility once and didn’t get very far. God didn’t make us for that, in my not-so-humble opinion.

Deon threw a birthday party for himself at the Peachtree Plaza while I worked there a long time ago. A lot of people were invited and the bill was something like $50,000. He found a reason not to pay it.

He also coined the term “ The House That Deon Built” for the Atlanta Dome (replaced by Mercedes Benz Stadium). He made a lot of headlines. Very athletic fellow. Complicated and ambitious.

His ex wife is an X for good reason.

She was a mess. Happy that his son is close by.

He will liven up the sport. Don't sell him short. I won’t.

Go Buffalos!

Go Dawgs!

The Longhorns beat The Tide today.

In Bama.

Corrections: The Georgia Dome. And it's 'Deion', not Deon.
