Actually, Glenn, as a legal immigrant myself, I think that it may be technically illegal for these Brits to come over to work on the Harris campaign if they are on a visitor’s (tourist) visa. If they present themselves to an immigration official upon landing in the US, they typically ask the purpose of your visit to the United States. If they lie and say they are visiting friends, that is breaking US law. If they say they are there to “work” on a political campaign with no official documentation or permission, the immigration official will likely turn them back on the next flight home. Immigration enforcement is a whole lot tougher at airports than it is at our southern border. FWIW

Il Duce’s manifesto spells out what fascism truly is … no individual rights, anti-capitalist, anti-religion, lots of censorship, confiscation of private firearms, big government on steroids and in total control; hence the term he coined “totalitarianism” which about 100 years ago wasn’t seen as the nasty pejorative as it is today.

Mussolini saw his social utopian paradise as one in which the individual and the state are bound together, one in the same together; and also bound together with other elements of society … corporations bound with government, NGOs bound with government, sports leagues and scout troops bound to the government. Meanwhile, the fascist government controls the whip hand to keep everybody else synchronized like a well oiled machine. It is total top down, centralized, one-party state control with everybody dancing to Il Duce’s music.

Now … which party sounds more like the total and encompassing control freaks who are micromanaging our lives from cradle to grave? The Democrats or the Republicans? This answer should be quite obvious.

Lastly … last year I had read the book “Travelers of the Third Reich” by Julia Boyd documenting the perceptions of foreign travelers throughout Nazi Germany in the 1930s. She also noted the quiet complaints by average Germans about the exorbitantly high taxes and constant diktats imposed by the Führer and his pesky and intrusive commissars.

Many in the German professional class, i.e., doctors, lawyers, engineers, business owners, etc., were very resentful of the extremely high taxes imposed upon them so as to redistribute the money to the less prosperous working class, thus fulfilling the workers party aspect within the Nazi name; i.e., National Socialist German Workers Party.

The high rates of confiscatory taxes were seen by many German professionals as having little difference from the Bolsheviks seizure of wealth in Communist Russia … the Nazis just had snappier looking uniforms.

Perhaps the biggest lie and the biggest misperception about Italian Fascism and Nazism are that these are right wing ideologies. Both are characterized by really BIG and centralized government control, to the detriment of individual rights and liberties.

Fascism is in fact a leftwing ideology as it is such big government that it really stands nowhere near the right on a typical political spectrum. It just so happens that Communism is even bigger government than fascism; so fascism is just slightly to the right of it, while both are on the far left of the political spectrum.

This is how the Left gets away with calling fascism a right-wing ideology, because it is only slightly to the right of communism on the political spectrum. Yet both poisonous ideologies are practically falling off of the leftwing edge of the spectrum. Communism would just fall off the left edge first because it is so far leftwing, closely followed by fascism afterwards.

Conservatism … the notion of limited government with checks and balances and Constitutional controls, is an ideology that falls (of course) on the right side of such political spectrums. If such conservative ideas were taken to their extreme, then government would get smaller and smaller, until disappearing into an anarchist state, which too would fall off the right end of the spectrum.

Don’t believe the big lie that DJT or conservatives and Republicans are fascists. Fascists are statist control freaks who are only eclipsed by Communists. Both ideologies tend to hate each other because they compete for the same attention and base values.

While in office from 2017 - 2021, DJT cut taxes, cut regulations, promoted religious freedom, and throttled the government commissars in federal alphabet soup agencies like the EPA, IRS, ATF, etc., to the benefit of the general public and their freedoms. These are not the governing actions of a so called “fascist.”

Slandering DJT and MAGA as “fascist” is just the Left’s latest and most desperate attempt at gaslighting the American electorate.

G’day … and vote as if your life depends upon it; because it may very well indeed depend on it!
